360 Capital Group Limited has established a 50/50 Joint Venture with telecommunications industry executive and investor David Yuile, to build a global digital infrastructure fund and 360 Capital Digital Pty Limited.

360 Capital Group is an alternative asset investment and funds management group which invests in real asset debt and equity.

The joint venture, 360 Capital Digital Pty Limited, is the investment manager and partner to 360 Capital Global Digital Infrastructure Partners (GDIP). GDIP will focus on investing in digital infrastructure such as data centres and telecommunication towers, submarine cables and dark fibre networks.

“The new partnership will enable me to build on my previous success in the sector and scale up into investment opportunities across the many projects I see in this arena,” David said.

GDIP will be an unlisted partnership available to both local and overseas capital partners and wholesale investors with a targeted internal rate return of 10 per cent per annum.

360 Capital will initially co-invest up to US$10 million into GDIP and will underwrite a further US$10 million of the equity raising.

“Since our previous data centre investment, we have had a number of capital partners approaching 360 Capital looking to invest in this sector and we will now offer the 360 Capital Global Digital Infrastructure Partners to these investors as an opportunity to gain exposure to the sector and David’s expertise,” David said.

GDIP is currently in the process of purchasing an operating data centre in Australia and investigating further investment opportunities.
