Sky Metals (SKY) have appointed Mark Arundell as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Mark is a highly experienced geoscientist with over 30 years of experience. His experience includes mineral exploration, mining, mining project assessment and equity capital markets.

Previously he worked in senior roles with RGC, North limited and Rio Tinto operating across WA, NSW and internationally.

Mark has extensive experience in gold and base metals, with deep and relevant experience in NSW across porphyry copper-gold and orogenic gold exploration.

He will commence his role on January 28, 2020, at the head office in Orange, NSW.

Sky is an exploration and development company. It’s project portfolio offers exposure to the tin market, where a long term growth in prices reflects challenged supply and growing demand amid new applications of the metal.

According to Rio Tinto Tin is identified as one of the most impacted by future technologies.

Sky owns the Tallebung and Doradilla projects in New South Wales.

Sky is up 10 per cent on the market close, trading at 9.9¢ per share.
