Artemis Resources (ARV) has provided updates on drilling activities at its Greater Carlow and Paterson Central projects in WA.

Carlow

Artemis’ Greater Carlow gold development projects are located in the West Pilbara region, 45 kilometres east from Karratha.

It has an inferred resource of 7.7 million tonnes at 1.06g/t gold, 0.51 per cent copper, and 0.08 per cent cobalt for 260,000 ounces of gold, 38,000 ounces of copper, and 5900 tonnes of cobalt.

Reverse circulation (RC) drilling is currently underway at Carlow West on an area that returned results grading between 0.05g/t to 9.89g/t gold.

An aircore (AC) rig will arrive on-site in mid-July to test the remainder of the 1.8-kilometre strike.

Paterson Central

Paterson Central is located in the East Pilbara region, approximately 40 kilometres east of Newcrest Mining’s (NCM) Telfer Gold-Copper Mine.

Artemis has received 457 geochemistry results from MMI (mobile metal ions) and ionic leach sampling with results are currently being analysed to see which technique works the best and will be used for future programs.

The company remains on track to complete the final drill design for Paterson Central in the next three to four weeks.

Artemis has also finished RC drilling at the Munni Munni Project with 12 holes, for 1928 metres, now complete.

Samples are on route to ALS Global in Perth and results are expected in three to four weeks.

“We look forward to receiving the results of the Munni Munni drill program and we have kicked off at Carlow West using an RC rig to test, deeper than aircore likely could, across an area of higher inferred gold anomalism,” Executive Director Alastair Clayton commented.

“A significant number of samples (457) were recovered and we look forward to seeing the results of the MMI versus ionic leach analysis that is underway. We look forward to reporting the results once the final data set has been completed,” he said.

Artemis is down a slight 1.69 per cent and shares are trading for 5.8 cents each at 12:01 pm AEST.
