Telecommunications carrier Field Solutions (FSG) has announced a partnership and wholesale supply agreement with Central Telecoms.

Through the agreement, the companies will enhance organic growth of rural, regional, and remote sales and marketing in select territories. Together, Field Solutions and Central Telecoms will develop a suite of specific products to support businesses in rural, regional, and remote Australia.

These wholesale products will be delivered via Field Solutions’ rural network, along with NBN TC4 and Enterprise Ethernet.

Over the course of three years, Field Solutions will deliver approximately $3.6 million in wholesale services. The company will also enable 13 extra rural and regional NBN POI’s, to support the delivery of products for Central Telecoms.

In the rural, regional, and remote areas which Field Solutions services, Central Telecoms will expand its sale force from 15 to 50. Central Telecoms’ COO, Andy Heller, explained the company’s plans for the agreement.

“With our close collaboration with FSG, we are confident we can accelerate our growth and provide a broader range of data and voice services to customers whose previous only choice was NBN Sky Muster,” Andy said.

“With these enhanced capabilities, we plan to expand local service centres from nine regional locations to 40 over the next 12 months,” he revealed.

Field Solutions’ CEO, Andrew Roberts, also commented on the company’s partnership with Central Telecoms.

“We see the combination of FSG’s rural and regional network with Central Telecoms’ sales, marketing, and outstanding customer service track record in these areas, as yet another confirmation of our commitment to providing true broadband and communications solutions to the rural, regional, and remote Australia,” he said.

The company expects the migration and consolidation of NBN services should start in July, and finish by August 2020.

Field Solutions shares have spiked 4.55 per cent into the green in early trade, priced at 4.6 cents per share at 10:47 am AEST.
