Artemis Resources (ARV) is continuing exploration work at the Carlow Castle Project, while also announcing changes to the Board.

The company confirmed early on Monday morning that Director Boyd Timler has immediately resigned from his role within the business.

No explanation was given on why the director is departing ARV, and the materials stock hasn’t stated when or if he will be replaced.

Meanwhile, ARV said despite a disappointing preliminary resource calculation of 14.3 million tonnes at 0.7 g/t gold for 320,000 ounces at Carlow, the resource shows there are areas that require further drilling.

Artemis believes the site in WA’s Pilbara region is prospective for gold and copper and intends to drill test all high-priority exploration targets uncovered.

ARV is already awaiting assays from recent reverse circulation and diamond drilling at the Eastern and Western zones of Carlow.

“The Board of Artemis is now taking steps to implement a new exploration strategy for the Carlow Project which I have every confidence will create value for shareholders over the coming months,” ARV Chairman Mark Potter said.

“The Carlow Project clearly has substantial exploration potential and remains
a project worthy of further investment in 2021,” he added.

Company shares are up 7.02 per cent at 6.1 cents per share at 10:46 am AEST.
