Titan Minerals (TTM) has intersected further high-grade gold and silver mineralisation at the Cerro Verde Prospect within its Dynasty Gold Project.

The Dynasty Gold Project lies in the Loja Province of southern Ecuador and consists of five concessions totalling 139 square kilometres.

Results come from the final quarter of the diamond drilling program which began in May and was completed in December.

The program aimed to further define the known resource and improve Titan’s understanding of the structural, chemical and geological controls on the mineralisation.

A total of 100 holes were drilled, for 20,757 metres, with all results received expect for 13 which will be reported on shortly.

The new results come from a further 31 holes, for roughly 7000 metres of drilling.

Better results include 3.05 metres at 16.48 grams per tonne (g/t) gold with 61.7 g/t silver from 142.15 metres and 7.07 metres at 8.56 g/t gold with 95.8 g/t silver from 125.7 metres.

“We are pleased that this current phase of drilling has confirmed and expanded the known mineralisation at the Cerro Verde Prospect within the overall Dynasty Project,” Managing Director Laurie Marsland commented.

“The results received so far gives us great confidence that previous estimates and projections of veins at Cerro Verde are correct, if not conservative and our focus is turning to understand the ultimate size and magnitude of the project.”

Titan is continuing to build and expand 3D wireframes of the mineralisation as part of its geological modelling of the Cerro Verde and Papayal prospects.

Titan has ended the day in the grey with shares trading at 11 cents in a $115 million market cap.
