Infomedia (IFM) has appointed Jens Monsees as CEO and Managing Director, effective May 23, 2022, with Jim Hassell continuing as interim CEO until then.

Mr Monsees is an experienced global executive and is known for driving digital transformation, innovation and strategies across a range of industries.

He has more than 20 years of experience and has previously worked as Chief Digital Officer with BMW and Automotive Industry Leader at Google.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with the Board and the wider team to lead the business in fulfilling its ambitions to become an Australian global success story, delivering tangible growth and shareholder returns,” Mr Monsees said.

“I look forward to continuing working with the evolving global automotive and technology industries to leverage my depth of experience and international relationships.”

Chairman Bart Vogel said he was excited to welcome someone of Mr Monsees calibre to the team.

Shares in Infomedia were up 2.42 per cent on the market and were trading at $1.48 at 3:10 pm AEDT.
