Ausmon Resources (AOA) has continued field sampling at the Stirling Vale and Kanbarra tenements near Broken Hill in New South Wales.

Sampling was completed at Stirling Vale, however it had to be reduced at Kanbarra due to heavy rain.

A total of 228 soil samples and 13 rock samples were collected and will be sent to a laboratory for analysis of multi-elements including lithium and associated elements.

The sampling at Stirling Vale was conducted to the north-east of the tenement, an area comprising of extensive pegmatite, which could have the potential for lithium, caesium and tantalum mineralisation.

This area has not been subject to significant exploration for lithium before.

Field sampling at Kanbarra was conducted across three areas defined by low and high magnetics as well as elevated rock chemistry, identified in historical data.

The Chief Technical Officer has met with landowners of nearby tenements to discuss access and compensation terms.

The company says its proposed exploration plans have been well received and it will progress towards the execution of agreements.

Shares closed flat today at 0.8 cents each.
