Critical Resources (CRR) has received final approval for its 1700 metre drill program at the Sunnyside prospect within its Halls Peak zinc lead copper silver project in New South Wales.

The company received final resource regulator approval, which will enable it to test multiple geophysical anomaly targets to a maximum depth of 700 metres.

The Sunnyside prospect is about 1.5 kilometres north from the Gibsons prospect, which is currently being drilled.

CRR has five more holes to complete at Gibsons before it will turn its focus towards Sunnyside.

It is aiming to explore large scale base metals SEDEX type system potential across its tenements at the project.

Managing Director Alex Biggs said drilling at Sunnyside represents an expansion in the resource potential of the project.

“Being able to drill the previously untested geophysical anomalies seen at Sunnyside represents a major step in our exploration program at Halls Peak,” he said.

Shares were trading 7.41 per cent higher today at 8.7 cents each at 3:05 pm AEST.
