Rafaella Resources (RFR) has entered a trading halt as the company awaits more news in regards to a capital raise.

Trading of RFR shares will be paused until Wednesday, July 27, or until more details of the capital raise are released to the market.

Whilst it is not yet known where the funds could be directed, a possible recipient could be its Belleterre-Angliers project in Quebec, Canada.

Last week, the company announced results from a field mapping program conducted at the site which confirmed high-priority targets.

Exploration targets were re-prioritised to include those previously overlooked due to lying greater than 300 metres in depth.

The company had planned to further ramp up its exploration efforts at the project, with drilling and further modelling of the mineralisation to be conducted.

Shares in the company last traded at three cents each on July 22.
