TEK-Ocean Group (T3K) has appointed a new head of finance, while a Non-Executive Director steps down.

Roy Sharma was appointed to the position of financial controller, starting August 1.

For the past six years, Mr Sharma has served as a financial controller of Superior Energy Services, where he drove growth across the global organisation.

In this capacity, he developed skills in executing complex strategic initiatives and financial operations for the oil and gas industry, and listed organisations.

Non-Executive Chair Brendan Brown said he was pleased with the new appointment.

“We’re delighted to have Roy join the company to lead our finance team and to assist the company during this exciting growth phase,” he said.

Meanwhile, Non-Executive Director David Wilkinson will step down after accepting a full-time role with another company, which may conflict with his current duties.
