Siren Gold (SNG) has appointed Victor Rajasooriar as a Non-Executive Director, adding “significant” mining, governance and corporate capability to its board.
This move forms part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its board as it enters a new phase of growth.
Current Managing Director of Panoramic Resources (PAN), Mr Rajasooriar has more than 25 years of operational and technical experience in both underground and open-pit mining operations
His career includes senior roles with major resource companies, such as Managing Director and CEO of Echo Resources (EAR) before its acquisition by Northern Star Resources (NST).
Mr Rajasooriar served as Chief Operating Officer for leading underground mining contractor Barminco and held senior technical positions at Gold Fields and Newmont Mining.

“He is highly regarded across the mining industry as an astute and accomplished leader, he has a strong background across gold and critical minerals, and also brings significant experience within the New Zealand mining industry.”
SNG shares last traded at 7.5 cents.
