Integrated Green Energy has provided an update on its Amsterdam facility.

Arriving in Amsterdam on March 29 the facility represents 50 tonnes per day (TPD) of capacity. The preliminary scaffolding has been completed and the necessary equipment is progressing well.

Hot and cold testing is expected to begin in the next six weeks with the testing preceding the commissioning process to ensure the safe and efficient start-up of the plant.

Construction for the second module is nearing completion and is expected to be shipped by May 10. It will arrive in Amsterdam in July with installation to begin immediately.

Once both modules are installed and operational the facility will have the capacity to process 100 TPD of plastic and produce 35 million liters of fuel per annum. IGEs’ main focus is on creating a cleaner and healthier planet for future generations.

The plastic to fuels process will be used in a range of products including road ready diesel, road ready petrol, and marine diesel oil.

Production will occur in two stages with the first stage involving the first module and the second stage involving the second module.

Commissioning of the first 50TPD will begin once all operating conditions have been achieved and once the second module is installed there will be a ramp up to the expected 100TPD in November 2019.
