Unith (ASX:UNT) has announced the successful completion of a share placement to raise $2 million.

The company issued more than 137 million fully paid ordinary shares and more than 68 million unlisted options as part of the placement, which was first announced on February 5, 2024.

Evolution Capital clients subscribed to $1.5 million of the placement while existing UNT shareholders supported $500,000.

This influx of funds will fuel Unith’s expansion plans and ongoing projects.

Unith is a leading digital human software developer, specialising in unifying research and development in facial movement deep learning, audio machine learning, and conversational design.

The company creates customisable, interactive avatars, allowing businesses to engage and educate customers in real-time and in multiple languages through a comprehensive platform.

Unith last traded at 1.4 cents.
