The ASX200 is set to fall with futures down -0.13% near 8.30am AEDT on Wednesday.

The US markets pared recent gains again overnight as the world heads into a week of data. Fed chief Jerome Powell gives testimony in congress tonight Australian time and we get the US jobs report later this week.

The S&P500 closed down -1.02% and the NASDAQ fell -1.65%.

In Australia, today we get GDP data for Q4 of 2023, as well as more export import data.

Brent Crude has dropped to US$81.9x/bbl and SGX iron ore futures are back down to $114.65/tn.

Also: overnight, Apple revealed its iPhone sales in China have dropped 24%.

This comes not long after Goldman Sachs removed the stock from its list of top picks, and with Tesla also underperforming relative to its Mag7 peers, some are starting to throw the term “Magnificent 5” around.

You can keep that tidbit for parties.

Stocks catching eyes this morning:

Raiden Resources (ASX:RDN) has updated the market on its Andover South project.

The company has secured a heritage survey program.

Andover is a lithium play.

Shares last at 2.6c.

Race Oncology (ASX:RAC) has issued an update on a drug it’s looking at, Bisantrene.

The company has made the big claim of “potent anticancer activity.”

That activity was observed in “AML models.”

Shares last at 85c.

Artemis Resources (ASX:ARV) has made an exploration update.

The company has identified a new zone for geotechs to investigate.

This comes after finding high-grade lithium rockchips (readers should note rock chips are always higher grade.)

Shares last at 1.5c.

Astral Resources (ASX:AAR) is also issuing an exploration update.

The company has revealed a promising-enough gold hit.

Drillers recovered a 35m core grading at 318g/t gold on-site from 86m depth.

Shares last at 5.9c.

Aruma Resources (ASX:AAJ) has another exploration update for investors today.

The company says its drillers have found high-grade rare earths.

This is at its Salmon Gums project.

Shares last at 1.6c.
