When it comes to the daily trending stocks, HotCopper users have already picked a clear favourite: Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS) has been the most-discussed by far through to around 2pm in Sydney trade today.

Pilbara topped the forum charts after sharing a new mineral resource for its 100%-owned Pilgangoora Operation, and while some users called it a “fluff announcement,” most were happy to see movement for the popular miner.
PLS has slumped relatively low price-wise recently; it’s at $1.40/sh today.
Also trending on HotCopper forums is Zip Co (ASX:ZIP), which has long been a darling in the discussion threads. Zip caught eyes after a “strong” guidance upgrade.
And finally, Advance Metals (ASX:AVM) has been heavily watched after the Australian explorer landed some top first hits in its Yoquivo drill campaign. Some traders do seem to be selling the news; AVM is down -2.89%.
The ASX 200 has been up around +0.2% through lunchtime trades, hovering around the record highs that Oz shares first cracked through yesterday.
Looking at sectors, Real Estate (up +1.21%) has led the way on Wednesday.
