Every week, hundreds of companies go through the ups and downs of the ASX rollercoaster, with fortunes made and equity lost each time the bourse opens – which is why keeping an eye on the hot stocks is so key.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

We’ve put together the HotCopper HotList: the top ten ASX-listed companies added to HotCopper users’ watchlists this week, so you can keep an eye on them too.

This week, Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY) was by far the most short-listed by savvy HotCopper users, with the double whammy of the explorer expanding its Desert Antimony Prospect at the Mojave Project in California (the U.S. Bureau of Land Management will still need to clear it) and a $5.3 million placement.

The $5.3M windfall ended up being oversubscribed – it came out at 9.5cps – and Locksley bounced as much as +10% higher on the week’s positive releases.

Trigg Minerals (ASX:TMG) was another stock added to plenty of watchlists, after the tungsten explorer moved into the U.S. defence sector with a US$225K project pickup in the Tennessee mountains in Nevada.

(My colleague Jonathon Davidson wrote more on that here.)

While many were watching, fewer bought: TMG has been up +2% today.

Finally, Electro Optic Systems Holdings (ASX:EOS) excited forum users (and made it on 67 more watchlists) after securing a huge order for a “new type” 100kW high-power laser weapon worth as much as $125M.

Some users adding it to watchlists may be most interested in EOS for its YTD gains; the tech designer has climbed as much as +272% higher since early January.

And, rounding out the top ten in Week 32 are:

  • Boss Energy (ASX:BOE)
  • Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML)
  • Waratah Minerals (ASX:WTM)
  • Telix Pharmaceuticals (ASX:TLX)
  • Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR)
  • DroneShield (ASX:DRO)
  • And, West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE)
