Good afternoon, and welcome to the HotCopper Highlights for Week 33. In this segment – which you’ll notice I’m covering for Jonathon Davdison this Friday – we look through the stocks you were watching and discussing the most this week on Australia’s #1 finance website, HotCopper.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

Let’s get into it, starting with the most viewed companies.

First up, Energy Transition Minerals has carried interest into another week – it continues to draw attention on the forums after picking up a tantalum-niobium project in Spain late in Week 32. ETM is also trying to sue Greenland for four times the country’s GDP, so that’s always sure to get chins wagging.

Elsewhere, Dateline Resources was popular after a scorching value hike: The North American-based mining explorer leapt +70% this week after running a 3D magnetotelluric geophysical survey at its Colosseum Gold-REE Project. The Oz smallcap uncovered an “unusual rock structure” rich in carbonatites.

And keeping with the explorer trend, Warriedar Resources wowed for relatively similar reasons. The explorer confirmed gold mineralisation at its Golden Range extends at depth and stretches into the “Golden Corridor” in Murchison.

Now, that was the most watched stocks, but there was plenty discussed, too.

Here, Pilbara Minerals and Liontown Resources can be bundled together, I reckon, because everyone’s yacking about them after CATL confirmed it would be mothballing its huge Jianxiawo lithium mine. While excitement was high on Monday, those stocks have pulled back slightly over the rest of the week.

Next, Trigg Minerals caught plenty of attention on the forums, mainly thanks to its big Spanish acquisition: It scooped up the country’s only tin-tantalum-niobium mine for €5.2 million last week and has been a hot topic since.

And finally, DroneShield, with the drone developer hitting headlines with its AI-enabled counterdrone “SentryCiv” for civilian customers. DroneShield always draws heavy attention on the HotCopper threads for any news, but this one was particularly welcomed; the company added +5% in value this week.

That’s HotCopper Highlights, I’m Isaac McIntyre – have a great weekend, and I’ll see you bright and early Monday morning for the Market Open.
