It’s that time of day to check out which companies are trending the most on HotCopper as we head into lunch – here’s the 3 most watched announcements on Thursday as at 12.10pm AEST.

  • 4DS Memory: By far the most watched and discussed stock on Friday, the company has revealed that it’s walking away from key tech microchip tech partners after recent Sixth Lot test results, meant to prove the tech’s potential, came up short. The company is effectively back to Square 1 with no marketable product but did unveil a vague plan to pivot, somehow, into AI. But after releasing a “strategic review” on Friday, the company said it will now undertake a strategic review – giving off the impression the company might be in panic mode, if that’s the state of its comms.
  • Peak Rare Earths Limited: Peak shot up +25% in lunchtime trades as the company secured a takeover price at a 32% premium from Singapore-based Shenghe Resources – implying a $195M valuation.
  • Marquee Resources: Ahead of inking a JORC-compliant Mineral Resource, Marquee has attracted attention on what is perhaps a surprisingly quiet Friday as it declares a high-grade antimony drill hit on-site its Mt Clement asset.
