The company now owns 100% of the Dollar Antimony Project in Nye County, acquiring the project from Strategic Minerals (ASX:SMC) for US$50 million.

Beyond that, the explorer’s netted firm commitments for $4.75 million in its raise, which will then tick up to as much as $5.5M through an impending placement. That comes alongside a sales agreement with Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY), which will bring in $750,000 of that raising and lock in offtake options.

“We think we’re onto something really quite special in this space now,” EV Resource’s non-executive chairman Shane Menere told HotCopper today.

And, he added – “[EVR] is laser focused on this antimony space now.”
