Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) has today shared “exceptional” new assay results from the Minyari Gold-Copper project in the Paterson Province, confirming the continuity of substantial gold-copper zones.

The explorer has been hard at work at its fully owned, 4,100sqkm Minyari project through CY25, and now stands very pleased with its “outstanding” hits.

Standout results included 12 metres at 16.7 grams per tonne gold and 0.13% copper from 143 metres depth in hole 25MYD0546 – a notable interval because it also included a one-metre section at 176.5g/t gold and 1% copper.

Another top hit came from 24MYD0547, where Antipa dug up 18 metres at 2.7g/t gold and 0.49% copper from 275m (including 2m at 17.3g/t gold, 2.49% copper).

These results go a long way to upgrading Minyari’s Mineral Resource and helping ongoing feasibility work. On that, Antipa’s managing director, Roger Mason, declared, “These results serve to highlight Minyari as a high-quality gold-copper system at scale… [and] provide a solid foundation for the MRE update.” HotCopper understands that upgrade should be completed by October.

“This year’s programme is now delivering what it was designed to achieve: Further advancing the Minyari development while still adding new discoveries to build towards additional scale,” Mr Mason continued.

“With phase two drilling in progress and more phase one results to come, we look forward to reporting more success in the months ahead,” he added.

Beyond the main deposits, Antipa also identified gold-copper anomalies at the Reaper-Poblano-Serrano and AL01 targets after broad-spaced air core drilling. Results there included 82 metres at 0.2g/t gold from eight metres.

Phase one of the program stretched across 307 holes and nearly 36,000 metres; as much as 33,524 metres have come in already. The company expects its “outstanding” assays, covering 20 holes and 2,539 metres, to come back next month. At the same time, PFS resource definition drilling is nearly done.

AZY heads into Tuesday’s morning trade selling at 71cps.
