Good Afternoon and welcome to HotCopper Highlights wrapping up Week 50 of the year, I’m Jon Davidson. In this segment we go over the stocks you were watching and discussing most this week on Australia’s #1 finance website, let’s get into it starting with the most viewed.

4DX Medical popped this week back above $2 for the first time in recent memory as the next-gen lung imaging company saw its scanner tech adopted by the University of Miami for in-house clinical use; previously, Stanford U has done the same; on Friday the company also secured $30M in funding through options.

Bass Oil meanwhile found itself on radars aplenty as the company struck a deal with energy retailing giant Origin for a 3Y gas supply deal from its recently acquired Vanessa gasfield in the Cooper Basin.

Nanoveu finally had an update around its attention-catching ‘EMASS’ chip tech which purports to power devices for longer using less power, which may or may not be able to make AI use less energy, perhaps. This time, the company is collaborating with a partner in the Internet of Thing space.

And as for the most discussed?

Arafura Rare Earths back at the top of the menu across the last week as the Gina Rinehart and Canada-backed miner’s share price goes back to the low 20s, probably leaving those who jumped on during the Trump-Alabanese talks era two months ago wondering when they’ll see it climb again. We could be waiting a while.

Ovanti Ltd meanwhile at the top of the discussion boards too, only fair pointing out here Ovanti are a client too but that’s not why they’re included in this video; the company is taking a stab at launching a new BNPL app called Flote in the States with partnerships being made and a potential SPAC listing on the cards. Attention speaks for itself.

Race Oncology came in third for the week as the company posted news of a $3.2M placement at a premium to a prior closing price, which kept existing shareholders happy; on top of that to discuss, the company also changed its name to Racura Oncology. You can keep your eye out for more around that next week, note they’re a client too.

That’s HotCopper Highlights for this week, I’m Jon Davidson, have a great weekend and we’ll see you on Monday.
