In particular, the company has received notable gold and copper results for the first hole completed as part of a phase two program with hole TDRCD005 returning 114m at 1.19 grams per tonne (g/t) gold equivalent from 144m to the footwall fault.

TDRCD005 has extended the high-grade gold and copper core along strike to more than 400m within a known mineralised strike of 1.2km.

The hole was completed as a north strike step out from previous hole DD94GB72 which returned 85m at 1.58 g/t gold equivalent.

EC, Clive Donner, said the company is highly encouraged by the results from TDRCD005 which has extended the shallow high-grade strike of gold and copper by 50m.

“There are currently nine assays pending and we anticipate further news flow this month.”

Since the resumption of drilling in February an additional 10 holes have been completed at the Dam, principally targeting extensions to the higher-grade core and additional high-grade cores within wide spaced drilling across the deposit

Gilmore is located within the minerals rich Macquarie Arc province in the Lachlan Fold Belt, a region recognised as Australia’s premier porphyry gold-copper region and home to multiple large-scale operating mines.

The company holds approximately 597 sq. km of tenements with a 60km belt of more than 20 known prospects and six mineral resource deposits.

LNQ was steady at 35.5¢. Mkt cap $72.80M.
