Caspin Resources (ASX:CPN) has attracted strong investor interest through Wednesday after the Aussie company announced the discovery of a new high-grade lode position at its flagship Bygoo Tin Project in New South Wales, adding further weight to the emerging growth story at Kelpie.

Latest drilling has extended known mineralisation beyond the existing resource and identified a new mineralised position management believes could support further resource growth. Investors responded positively, viewing the result as another step towards building a much larger tin inventory at Bygoo.

Caspin’s current Kelpie resource stands at 3.94 million tonnes at 0.50% tin for 19,300 tonnes of contained tin; one of the higher-grade open-pit tin resources on the ASX.

The company has also outlined a target of between 12 million and 20M tonnes, highlighting the significant upside still being tested through drilling.

Recent drilling on-site continues to support that growth story, with several high-grade intersections returned from step-out holes designed to test extensions to the existing deposit. Results have confirmed that mineralisation remains open and continues beyond previously defined boundaries.

Caspin has been increasingly focused on advancing Bygoo as global tin markets remain supported by tight supply conditions and growing demand from electronics, semiconductors and emerging technologies.

Earlier this year, the company raised fresh capital and expanded drilling programs to accelerate exploration across the broader project area.

With drilling continuing and targets to be tested, Oz investors will now be watching closely for further assays that could expand the resource base and reinforce Bygoo’s position as one of the ASX’s more compelling tin stories.

Heading into mid-arvo Wednesday, CPN has been 9.9cps.
