Three ASX stocks exploded higher on major news this week, but after a big gap up, investors face a difficult question: Is this the start of the next major run, or are late buyers walking straight into a trap?

In this video, Wealth Within senior analysts Filip Tortevski and Pedro Banales break down three stocks where the news and price action are suddenly getting very interesting.

Synertec Corporation (ASX: SOP) surged after securing a $45.5 million government engineering contract, while Tamboran Resources (ASX: TBN) jumped after delivering its first gas sales from the Beetaloo Basin and moving closer to generating meaningful revenue.

Then there’s Ingenia Communities Group (ASX: INA), which rallied sharply after rejecting a $4.75 takeover offer from Warburg Pincus on the basis that it substantially undervalued the company.

However, good news doesn’t always mean a stock keeps rising.

Filip and Pedro look beyond the headlines and into the charts to show where buyers are starting to take control, where resistance could stop the rally, and what would need to happen next for each stock to keep climbing.

With all three stocks making unusually large moves, the next few weeks could reveal whether these are genuine opportunities, or whether the initial excitement has already gone too far.
