Advance Metals (AVM) has commenced exploration and expanded its Anderson Creek Gold Project in Idaho.

The company completed a staking program which expanded the project by 200 per cent.

The new area has similar geology to other areas of the project and is mostly underexplored.

After identifying new targets from a geological review, AVM mobilised ground crews to begin a mapping and soil sampling program.

This is part of its wider Anderson Creek Exploration program, which is aiming to define new drill targets, develop conceptual geological models, report a maiden JORC exploration target, and submit exploration permits to commence a drilling program.

In addition, a satellite imagery survey was conducted which detected new areas of potential mineralisation.

Chairman Geoff Hill said the expanded area shows a lot of potential.

“The teams on the ground will be mapping and taking samples in the newly claimed areas so we can commence the drilling permitting process,” he said.

Shares were trading flat at 1.1 cents each at market close.
