Advance Zinctek (ANO) has appointed a new Non-Executive Director to its board.

Linda Barr will join the board from today, with her appointment to include chairing the audit committee.

ANO said Ms Barr has extensive knowledge in accounting systems and over 30 years of experience in accounting and management roles.

Ms Barr previously held senior finance and executive roles, reporting to an ASX 100 listed company board.

She will replace Laurie Lefcourt, who will retire from the position at the upcoming annual general meeting to take on more significant directorship roles.

Laurie will facilitate a smooth handover to the new non-executive director.

Meanwhile, the company reported $1.3 million in firm sales orders from its US distributor, Deveraux Specialities.

The company said current firm sales orders for delivery this half are up 57.4 per cent over the prior corresponding period.

ANO reported timelines for delivery are back ended to Q2 FY23 for the majority of the sales, resulting in deliveries to September 23 being down 45 per cent compared to the same three months in FY22.

Advance Zinctek was up 0.95 per cent and trading at $2.13 at 2:12 pm AEST.
