Advanced Human Imaging (AHI) and partner Tinjoy are set to launch their Health Cube app in China this week after submitting the product to Android and Apple app stores.

Should the submission progress as planned, the app would debut via some of what AHI describes as China’s top app stores including the Huawei App Market, Tencent My App, Oppo Software Store, Samsung App Store and Baidu Mobile Assistant.

AHI signed an agreement with Tinjoy Biotech to integrate AHI’s BodyScan and FaceScan technology into Tinjoy’s WinScan app earlier this year.

The bid for the Chinese market follows the 144,000 pre-registrations received for the app, which offered an annual subscription at ¥310 (A$64.86).

Tinjoy is required to pay AHI 70 per cent of the revenue generated from the subscriptions as part of a gross revenue share agreement between the parties.

Advanced Human Imaging Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Vlado Bosanac said the company had “big expectations” for the release.

“When looking at the designs and marketing material produced by Tinjoy it is easy to see why they have been so successful in their penetration and customer acquisition across the multiple layers of the business,” he said.

Advanced Human Imaging shares were up 2.69 per cent at 11:34 am AEST to trade at $1.34.
