Alto Metals (AME) has reported “outstanding” near-surface gold results from the Indomitable Camp within its Sandstone Gold Project in Western Australia.
Reverse circulation drilling has been ongoing at the site, returning multiple near surface, high-grade gold results.
Step out drilling north of the deposit extended mineralisation up to 500 metres north of the current resource, returning results such as 13 metres at 4.6 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) from 24 metres, including one metre at 31.8 g/t gold from 27 metres.
Meanwhile, extensional drilling at Indomitable North extended the gold mineralisation outside the current resource, returning 44 metres at two g/t gold from 58 metres, including 14 metres at 3.2 g/t gold from 84 metres. The mineralisation at the prospect remains open in all directions.
The company said its latest results continue to indicate the Indomitable Camp is a very large mineralised system, defined over a two-kilometre strike length.
Alto’s Managing Director, Matthew Bowles said these latest shallow high-grade gold results are outstanding.
“Our systematic approach is continuing to deliver and the ongoing near surface results from Indomitable highlight a very large shallow oxide footprint, which is often the key to finding much larger high-grade gold deposits at depth,” Matthew Bowles said.
Assays are still pending from more than 5000 metres of reverse circulation drilling completed at the Indomitable North and Indomitable East, with further drilling to continue.
Alto Metals dropped 4.48 per cent, trading at 6.4 cents at 3:56 pm AEST.
