  • Anson Resources (ASN) bull drone hones in on nickel-copper-platinum group elements prospects within its Bull Project in Western Australia
  • ASN says it is encouraged by the results, which have given way to a system it describes as similar to that at Chalice Mining’s Julimar discovery
  • Next steps include a broad coverage program of auger soils and a ground electromagnetic survey to determine the location of conductor plates

Results from Anson Resource’s (ASN) recent drone magnetic survey at its Bull Project in Western Australia have further defined a target anomaly.

The drone magnetic survey was completed over the project to further refine a bullseye total magnetic intensity anomaly identified by the explorer last September.

Broadly, Anson said it was encouraged by the drone magnetic results as they demonstrated the potential for a fertile ultramafic layered intrusive system similar to Chalice’s Julimar nickel-copper-platinum group elements discovery.

According to Anson, the new magnetic image interpretation shows a distinct internal character of the magnetic anomaly at the project and appears to include a series of magnetic high lenses and potential structural offsets.

The company said it was continuing to follow the exploration roadmap that led to Chalice’s Julimar discovery.

Next steps include a broad coverage program of auger soils and a ground electromagnetic survey to determine the location of conductor plates.

Anson Resources shares were up five per cent to trade at 6.3 cents at 12:35 pm AEST.
