Artemis Resources (ARV) has received final approvals for its wholly owned Paterson Central Project drill program in WA.

Final heritage approvals have been granted for each of Artemis’ high-priority exploration targets at the Paterson Project, including the Apollo, Atlas, Enterprise, Juno and Voyager prospects. The approvals allow for multi-target deep drilling to begin.

Following the nod of approval, the company moved quickly, with access, drill pad construction and a remote camp set up already underway, and a drill rig due to arrive shortly to begin its operations.

The company said it plans to initially drill multiple deep diamond holes extending between 600 metres and 1000 metres at Apollo and Atlas, to test the structural, geophysical and geochemical targets.

This is expected to grow to up to 5000 metres before the wet season kicks off around mid-December until February.

“I believe this program represents one of the most exciting gold and copper exploration opportunities in Australia due to its location in the flourishing Paterson region, where Newcrest-Greatland, Rio Tinto and Antipa Minerals are rapidly growing their recent gold-copper discoveries into significant resources,” explained Executive Director, Alastair Clayton.

Juno, Voyager and Enterprise are next in line to be drilled, with an expected drill date by Q1 2022 at the latest, depending on the timing of the wet season and progress.

Artemis Resources last traded at 9.5 cents on September 8.
