3D metal printer manufacturer Aurora Labs (A3D) has appointed Peter Snowsill as CEO effective immediately.

Peter was previously Chief Operating Officer of the company and has been interim CEO since Mach 2020.

“On behalf of the board and staff, I am delighted to announce Peter’s formal appointment as CEO and recognise his strong contribution in guiding the company through the recent restructure of its business operations and establishing our new technology development pathway,” Chairman Grant Mooney commented.

“With an invigorated team and clear development pathway, all of us at A3D are pleased to have Peter at the helm,” he said.

While he was interim CEO he replaced David Budge who moved into the role of Chief Technology Officer.

Peter has over 25 years of technology, engineering, and project management experience across Australia, the Americas, and the Asia Pacific region.

He’s worked across a range sectors including not-for-profit, small-to-medium enterprises, and the government.

“I am thankful for the confidence shown in me by the board and our team and I am highly committed to the company’s primary goal of developing and delivering our Rapid Manufacturing Technology,” Peter said.

“I will continue to foster innovation, disciplined engineering and customers-centric product testing through effective team function and process management,” he added.

Aurora Labs has ended the day 8.42 per cent in the red with shares trading for 8.7 cents each in an $11.14 million market cap.
