Ausmex Mining (AMG) has received results from recently completed infill drilling at the Mt Freda Project in Queensland.

Reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling is underway at the project to establish continuity of the gold grades and mineralisation.

New results include six metres at 4.37g/t gold from 97 to 103 metres, including two metres at 5.37g/t gold from 97 to 99 metres and three metres at 5.01g/t gold from 100 to 103 metres.

Together with results reported on earlier in the month, where up to 18.59g/t gold was intersected, these results confirm the continuity of grade and gold mineralisation at depth.

Additionally, the gold mineralisation continues to a depth of 230 metres which is almost five times deeper than the bottom of the historical Mt Freda mine.

All the results will now be used to upgrade the JORC resource estimate which currently reads 1.7 million tonnes at 2.06g/t gold for 113,000 ounces of gold.

Ausmex is up 3.51 per cent on the market and shares are trading at 5.9 cents at 10:41 am AEDT.
