Azure Minerals (AZS) has revealed further “very broad” zones of lithium mineralisation at its Andover project in Western Australia.
Recent drilling confirmed broad mineralised zones that extend for more than 1200 metres along strike and down-dip from surface to vertical depths of greater than 350 metres.
Assays included a 101.3-metre wide intersection at 1.21 per cent lithium oxide, including a high-grade zone of 64.1 meters at 1.63 per cent lithium oxide in one hole.
Another intersection included a 100.2-metre zone at 1.24 per cent lithium oxide, including a high-grade zone of 28 metres at 1.86 per cent lithium oxide.
The company announced that mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, indicating the potential for further discoveries.
Azure aims to continue drilling to explore the northeastern and southwestern extensions of previous discoveries.
Azure was up 1.85 per cent, trading at $1.66 cents at 11:17 am AEST.
