Barton Gold (ASX:BGD) has posted its December quarterly, revealing the company opened a tender for sale of $4.3 million worth of gold concentrate in the last quadrant of 2023.
Barton winded up the year just passed with $4.6 million in cash and shares newly listed on the OTCQB US private investment market.
The company had a list of key full-year milestones to look back on the inking of a resource over 1Moz of gold, and achieving all-in-cost metrics of only $16/oz.
JORC upgrade inbound
Additionally, a further JORC upgrade is tipped for “early 2024”.
The company is also sitting on an empty inbox tray about to be filled with 8000 metres worth of drilling assay results across RC and diamond rigs.
These pending assay results will be used to boost the JORC as seen fit by geotechs.
At Tarcoola, the company has made a new 3D model based on new data, with 600 metres worth of assays due back for that project, too.
Perseverance – an open pit target – will see drills return in March of 2024.
“2023 was exceptionally successful for Barton, with the December quarter seeing our second large Tunkillia resources upgrade for the year and also a new structural model for our high-grade Tarcoola Goldfield,” BGD Managing Director Alex Scanlon said.
“We expect to start 2024 with the same pace that we ended 2023, with additional Resource growth, discovery drilling, and asset monetisation initiatives underway and expected to yield multiple updates in the near future.”
