Children’s smartwatch, the Spacetalk Adventurer, is set to hit the shelves of select Big W stores this month following “promising” online sales.

The gadget, developed by global technology provider Spacetalk (SPA), is the latest in a range of all-in-one smartphone GPS watches, equipped with a camera, improved battery, heart rate monitor, bluetooth connectivity and water resistance.

Spacetalk and Big W are aiming to launch the product instore across 50 of the retailer’s 183 Australian outlets later this month, in addition to continuing online sales.

Spacetalk Chief Executive Officer Mark Fortunatow commented on the news.

“We welcome Big W to our rapidly growing Spacetalk family and appreciate and acknowledge their desire to distribute our all-in-one smartphone watches,” he said.

“We look forward to working with Big W to continue to grow and nurture the rapidly evolving kids wearables category.”
