BPM Minerals (ASX:BPM) is preparing for a follow-up drilling program at the Beachcomber prospect within its Forelands gold project in Western Australia, which is now expected to take up to six weeks with results in May.

The company has designed a 45-hole, 7,500 metre reverse circulation drilling program to test several targets across the broader Beachcomber prospect.

Previous RC drilling at Beachcomber intersected mineralisation over a strike length of 180 metres, with a discrete UltraFine (UFF) surface geochemical expression highlighting the effectiveness of the sampling method.

Drilling will focus on extending the high-grade extensions of Beachcomber and several untested soil anomalies, including the 700 metre long Beachcomber NW target.

The BPM targets were generated from soil samples collected in late CY25 in a program seeking Beachcomber-style high-grade mineralised veins, which may have potentially been overlooked by previous explorers.

At Beachcomber, soil sampling returned a large north-south striking, 700 metre long coherent measuring approximately 100ppb gold anomaly.

Anglo Gold Ashanti drilled one traverse of RC holes into the northern extent of this anomaly in the 2000’s retuning significant mineralisation, including 42 metres at 0.38 grams per tonne gold from 47m and 14m at 0.63 g/t from 31m.

While two further traverses were drilled by Anglo Gold Ashanti, they failed to test the peak of the newly defined UFF anomaly.

Around 16 RC traverses are proposed for the upcoming RC drilling program on 200m-spaced lines targeting the peaks of this anomaly.

Meanwhile, at the recently granted Bonnie & Clyde tenement, a 2,000-metre soil sample survey has commenced focussing on historical auger anomalies generated by FMG. Most of the sampling will be undertaken on a 50 metres by 50 metres grid, with the assay results to provide a focus for drill testing.

BPM has three critical work programs and approvals required before the drill testing of Bonnie & Clyde can occur. At this stage, the explorer anticipates the target will be ready for drill testing in Q3 CY26.

BPM is up +10.9%, to 25.5c.
