Bulletin Resources (BNR) has been granted two new tenements at its Lake Rebecca Gold Project by the Western Australian Department of Mines Industry Regulation and Safety.

Lake Rebecca is located about 150 kilometres northeast of Kalgoorlie.

Importantly, the granting of E28/2997 to Bulletin means that the entire Lake Rebecca Gold Project is now available for on-ground exploration.

In fact, several geological and geophysical targets were previously identified on the tenement in the miner’s project-wide review.

These areas will be progressively explored, along with extensions to gold trends recently found in the Rebecca complex to the north.

The remaining newly granted tenement, E28/3002, is a highly prospective 79-square-kilometre exploration claim, located approximately 50 kilometres south of Lake Rebecca and on a northwest trending splay of the Claypan Fault.

The fault is a major north-south structure hosting the nearby one-million-ounce Lake Roe gold deposit owned by ASX-listed Breaker Resources (BRB).

Magnetic imagery of the tenement suggests the area is dominated by a band of mafic-ultramafic greenstone on the northern flank of a large granitoid pluton.

To date, the area has not been subjected to modern exploration.

The addition of the tenements, which have a combined area of 285 square kilometres, takes the Lake Rebecca’s total project area to 575 square kilometres.

BNR is set to commence exploration works, including soil sampling over the interpreted greenstone unit, as a priority.

Bulletin Resources shares are up 2.78 per cent, trading at 7.4 cents at 4:56 pm AEDT.
