Sonia Madigan:

We’re from the floor at Kalgoorlie Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum, I’m joined by the Managing Director of Caprice Resources (CRS) Andrew Muir.

Now, Andrew, you’ve bought a sample in to show us today, Can you tell us about that?

Andrew Muir:

Yes, certainly, so I bought quite a big chunk of our pegmatitic granite, which we’ve got some quite elevated rare earth numbers in.

It’s going about 1400 ppm rare earths which is really quite a good grade considering it’s sitting at the surface.

Sonia Madigan:

So you’re here at the event in Kalgoorlie.

Is this about bringing attention to the Mukinbudin project?

Andrew Muir:

Yeah very much so, It’s connecting with obviously a network of previous people that I’ve worked with plus getting out there and telling the story and showing people what we’ve been up to because a lot’s changed in the last 12 months.

It’s a great opportunity to catch up with a whole range of people in a very short space of time and show them through the projects.

Sonia Madigan:

So if you were going to explain what those major changes were in a nutshell, what would that be?

Andrew Muir:

So it’s the addition of Mukinbudin and the change, I guess, of the pivot in the company towards rare earths, and also just taking people through how exciting that project’s starting to look, even though we’ve only had it since December last year.

So we’ve come a long long way in that short period of time and we’re really excited about what it can mean.

Sonia Madigan:

Andrew Muir from Caprice Resources, thank you for joining us.
