Classic Minerals (CLZ) has released high-grade gold results following drilling at the Lady Ada prospect within its Forrestania Gold Project in Western Australia.

The results come from reverse circulation drilling conducted in November 2021, which saw the company complete a total of 13 holes for 1,419 metres at both the Lady Ada and Lady Magdalene prospects.

Best results from Lady Ada included 5 metres at 27.76 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) from 101 metres, including one metre at 74.8 g/t gold from 104 metres.

The holes were drilled as infill, replicating existing older holes to re-confirm historical assay data prior to resource upgrade work.

The holes aimed to intersect close to existing historical high grade and lower grade zones within the known inferred resources at Lady Ada and Lady Magdalene.

Meanwhile, Lady Magdalene delivered results including 8 metres at 3.3 g/t gold from 28 metres.

Classic Minerals said it plans to head back to Forrestania to conduct further infill drilling in late April.
