Constellation Technologies’ (CT1) China-based subsidiary has signed two new customer contracts with Beijing BHZQ Environmental Engineering Technology (BHZQ) for water treatment plants.

The water treatments plants are in Hejian City and Yahong Bridge, which are both in the Hebei Province. The new contracts are worth RMB$1.345 million (approximately A$280,000).

Constellation has secured $760,000 in new contracts in the last three months in China.

In June, the company signed its first customer in China for approximately $480,000.

The company has successfully built an internet of things (IoT) platform, MeridianCT. The platform provides end-to-end security, scale and flexibility to develop, deploy and integrate customised IoT solutions.

Under the six-month contracts, Constellation is using this platform to deploy innovative solutions for BHZQ.

Both projects will also include a smart video surveillance system that is enabled by the MeridianCT Platform.

On market close, company shares are up 11.5 per cent, trading for 2.9 cents per share.
