Copper Search (CUS) has appointed Duncan Chessell as its new CEO effective from early May 2022.

An experienced geologist, Mr Chessell is co-founder and the current Managing Director of Resolutions Minerals (RML), a gold and battery metals exploration company.

He is now transitioning to the role of Non-Executive Director at Resolution ahead of taking up the new leadership position at Copper Search.

“We are pleased to have secured Duncan’s services as CEO and look forward to him driving the exploration program on the company’s tenements in South Australia’s Gawler Craton,” Copper Search Chairman Chris Sutherland said.

Mr Chessell replaces current Managing Director Peter McIntyre, who will remain with the company in a Non-Executive Director capacity.

“With the change in leadership, we need to acknowledge Peter’s contribution in expertly steering the company through its ASX listing last year and the commencement of drilling shortly thereafter,” Mr Sutherland said.

CUS shares were steady at 29 cents at 3:29 pm AEDT.
