Corazon Mining (CZN) has launched its next phase of drilling at its flagship Lynn Lake project in Canada.
The drilling will include an initial priority exploration program of six holes for approximately 2000 metres, testing four targets within the Lynn Lake Mining Centre.
A program of metallurgical drilling will then be designed to secure samples for further metallurgical testwork. This will be used for ore upgrades and ore sorting studies to form a key component of Corazon’s strategy to transform Lynn Lake into a long-life, low-cost, nickel sulphide mining operation.
The company said previous geological and resource modelling studies revealed several areas which provide the opportunity for finding additional mineralisation and potential resources around the existing nickel sulphide deposits.
Meanwhile, Corazon has received final assays from its most recent phase of exploration drilling at the Fraser Lake Complex. The company is now investigating these assays, which are expected to become targets for further targeted drilling early next year.
Corazon Mining was up 6.25 per cent, trading at 1.7 cents at 12:40 pm AEDT.
