First ever ASX-listed e-sports business Mogul has partnered with Melbourne competitive gaming community Melbourne Melee.

Mogul offers a software service of automated e-sport tournament brackets and gameplay live-streaming.

Mogul plans to integrate the Melbourne Melee community onto its software platform to build a partnership portfolio, increase revenue and reduce overheads.

Mogul claims to be the only e-sports software platform that utilises fully-automated tournament play across multiple video games.

Melbourne Melee previously used a global platform, making the transition to Mogul for a more localised focused service.

Forthcoming events will be based around ticketed competitions and featuring cash-prize pools for winners and competitors.

Melbourne Melee is a competitive gaming community built around the Nintendo video game Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Mogul Chief of Strategy Jamie Skella expressed great excitement for the partnership.

“One of many future partnerships of this kind. This gives us the opportunity to support grassroots through state-of-art tournament technology,” Jamie Skella said.

Melbourne Melee President Cailan Kingsbury expressed a mutual interest in strengthening the community through the partnership.

“[This platform] offers [melee players] a better experience, more access to events and exposure to the broader esports and gaming community”.
