Eden Innovations (EDE) has received a purchase order for US$530,000 (A$751,900) worth of EdenCrete.

The concrete additive was set to be used in Georgia’s Interstate Highway I-675 Repair Project, with work due to get underway in August.

The order had been announced in April, but work on the project was delayed for several months due to supply issues.

EdenCrete has been widely used in repair projects across Georgia, after EDE and the US state carried out a 17-month field trial.

Along with being used in I-675 repairs, EdenCrete was also being used in two other highway repair projects in Georgia.

Eden Innovation has also applied for three new repair projects which have been advertised for tender in the state, requiring US$73,000 (A$99,290) worth of product.

Additionally, the company said a two-year long trial of EdenCrete in bridge repairs in Georgia was close to wrapping up and if successful, EDE believes it could lead to another lucrative revenue stream.

Specifically, Eden noted that the State of Georgia spent US$509.5 million (A$693 million) in construction and widening bridges over 2019 alone, as well as US$41.9 million (A$57 million) on maintenance.

Following today’s update, shares in Eden Innovations were trading up 9.09 per cent at 2.4 cents per share at 1:11 pm AEST.
