Envirosuite Limited climbed 26.1 per cent in the ASX today after signing Latin America’s largest mining operation to their client list. The order was received from Carbones del Cerrejon for ongoing remote services situated in Colombia.

Cerrejon is a joint venture owned by BHP Billition, Glencore and Anglo American and is the tenth biggest coal mine in the world.

Envirosuite provide real time digital data management to global industrial operations. The new client marks the company’s largest signing to date. Cerrejon recently reported a $500,000 recurring annual revenue.

Cerrejon has ordered a subscription service worth $84,000, along with an additional for $240,000 worth of hardware.

The company will provide Cerrejon with dust management, weather and air quality forecasting, ground blasting, surface water monitoring and groundwater pressure monitoring.

Envirosuite CEO Peter White says the signing is a large pivot for the company’s operations.

“I have recently been on-site at the Cerrejon mine and seen firsthand the integration of the platform into the Cerrejon operational systems,” Peter said.

“Our team has done an excellent job in delivering solutions for Cerrejon and that is evident from the feedback I received from multiple Cerrejon team members in a variety of roles,” Peter said.

Company shares opened at 13.58 cents each today, before jumping to 14.50 cents a piece.
