- Force Commodities (4CE) has received assays from two holes drilled at the Mahab 4 deposit within Block 5
- Block 5 is located in the Middle Eastern jurisdiction of the Sultanate of Oman
- Pleasingly, both holes intersected high-grade massive copper sulphides
- Further assays are pending from drilling at the Hara Kilab deposit which is also located within Block 5
- Now, Force will review historical drilling data from a large area surrounding the deposits which will help to identify the potential of elevated gold values in Block 5
- Force is up 10.7 per cent and shares are trading at 3.1 cents
Force Commodities (4CE) has received assays from two drill holes at the Mahab 4 deposit within Block 5 in the Middle Eastern jurisdiction of the Sultanate of Oman.
Force is conducting this infill drilling to compile more samples to upgrade Mahab 4’s mineral resource from the inferred to indicated category.
One hole intersected 49 metres at 4.5 per cent copper and 0.3g/t gold from 11
metres, including 33.8 metres at 6.1 per cent copper and 0.3g/t gold from 19.2 metres. The second hole intersected 36.4 metres at 2.8 per cent copper and 0.3g/t gold from 29 metres, including 10.1 metres at 4.8 per cent copper and 0.2g/t gold from 46 metres.
Further assays are pending from drilling at the Hara Kilab deposit, which is also located within Block 5.
“We are very pleased to see that the recently returned assay results at Mahab 4 continue to deliver excellent high-grade massive sulphide intervals, which ultimately provide us with more confidence in Mahab 4’s resource model,” CEO Simon Pooley said.
The company’s geologists are now reviewing historical drilling data within an 18-by-five-kilometre area that encloses the Mahab 4 and Hara Kilab deposits in Block 5. This is aimed at identifying the potential of elevated gold values within Block 5.
Force is up 10.7 per cent and shares are trading at 3.1 cents at 11:49 am AEDT.
