Harvest Technology’s (HTG) subsidiary, Harvest Infinity, has signed an initial agreement with Applied Satellite Technology Group (AST).

The agreement is to jointly develop, market and distribute Harvest Infinity’s remote communication technology through AST’s global satellite network.

AST Australia is part of the privately-owned AST Group. AST is a global provider of end-to-end satellite communications solutions.

AST Group Managing Director Gregory Darling is happy with the agreement.

“AST is pleased to provide extensive complementary capabilities and services to Harvest Infinity by adding value to managed video and remote data acquisition
requirements worldwide,” he said.

Harvest said it was AST that approached the group to form a joint approach. AST saw that the Harvest Infinity Technology can have immediate application across its worldwide client base.

“For Harvest Infinity, this agreement has the ability to immediately strengthen our global reach and assist our business in driving adoption of our technology and applications,” HTG Group Managing Director Paul Guilfoyle said.

“We are hugely excited about this partnership. Both Harvest Infinity and AST Australia have already successfully navigated commercial opportunities together, and we look forward to a very fruitful relationship in the future,” he added.

On market close, Harvest Technology is up 12.5 per cent and selling shares for 13.5¢ each.
