Good afternoon, and welcome to the HotCopper HotList Top 10. Every week, hundreds of companies go through the ups and downs of the ASX trading rollercoaster, with fortunes made and equity lost each time the Aussie bourse opens – which is why keeping an eye on all the trending stocks is so key.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

We’ve put together the HotCopper HotList: The top ten ASX-listed companies added to HotCopper users’ watchlists, so you can keep an eye on them too – and broken down why the top three companies made trending lists.

Without further ado, here’s all the companies top-listed on the HotCopper forums.

1. Ore Resources

Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) has long been a popular stock on the forums, and Week 49 was no different, with as many as 2,000 users adding the company to their HotCopper watchlists as the explorer kept rolling.

There are several reasons Ore drew attention, including the 3,000-metre third phase RC drilling it’s been running in the Eastern Goldfields. The Aussie explorer has been looking for fresh rock god lodes and high-grade intercepts.

Then there’s the simpler reason: “Ore” just recently changed its name. It was previously “Future Battery Minerals” but swapped over formally last week.

To today, OR3 has been up +48% through Week 49.

2. US1 Critical Minerals

Don’t change the channel here, because US1 Critical Minerals (ASX:USC) is topping the trending HotList charts for similar reasons – it renamed from “Gladiator” to the more U.S.-focused title on Wednesday.

HotCopper users were focusing on more than just the name, though, with most discussions revolving around the company’s Tanzanian uranium assets. US1 (née Gladiator) has been looking into sales for the South-West Corner, Mtyona, Likuyu North, and Foxy. The Oz explorer is taking its time finding buyers.

Shares-wise, USC is flat today and down -37% this month.

3. Albright Metals

Finally, Albright Metals (ASX:ABR) caught heavy attention – and landed on plenty of HotCopper watchlists – after it started drilling at its Golden Pike Gold and Antimony Project on November 27. Since then, investors and the wider Aussie market have been waiting to see what the explorer digs up there.

Albright, once called Bryah, has been looking to find high-grade antimony at Golden Pike through CY25, most recently running due diligence in October.

On price, ABR is 0.4cps today.

And the rest of Week 49’s top ten stocks were:

  • Eminence Metals
  • Adheris Health
  • Tusker Minerals
  • Pioneer Minerals
  • Minerals Exploration
  • L1 Global Long Short Fund
  • and, Resolution Minerals
