Consumer goods developer and manufacturer Jatcorp (JAT) has entered a co-branding agreement with Pinnacle Laboratories.

Under the agreement, Jatcorp and Pinnacle will develop new products under a new co-brand to be known as CocoSoul Moroka.

Pinnacle owns the CocoSoul range of products which includes Delicious Organic Coconut Milk, Organic Oats & Coconut Milk Blend and Organic Sparkling Coconut Water.

Products under the CocoSoul Maroka brand will be distributed by Saputo, one of the top-10 dairy processors in the world.

Pinnacle’s products are currently distributed by Saputo into North America, South America, Eastern and Western Europe, Oceania and the Middle East.

The initial order is for $331,200 and it will be produced in 250-millilitre packaging for delivery in the March 2022 quarter.

Products under this initial order include CocoSoul Moroka Immune Support Coffee, CocoSoul Moroka Immune Support Chocolate, CocoSoul Moroka Matcha and CocoSoul Moroka Immune Support Oat Milk.

Jatcorp and Pinnacle are designing and ordering packaging for additional products so an expected second order can be manufactured and delivered to Saputo in the June quarter.

Saputo has no obligation to order further CocoSoul Moroka products beyond the first order, however, if the first, and potentially second order, are successful, this could result in a significant worldwide market for Jatcorp’s products.

“This strategic partnership is part of Jatcorp’s expansion strategy and will serve as a significant enhancement of our capabilities to distribute utilising Saputo’s worldwide retail network,” Jatcorp CEO Wilton Yao said.

Shares in Jatcorp were up 5.56 per cent on the market and were trading at 1.9 cents at 11:42 am AEDT.
